Lattu A traditional Game
Lattu pahar galy mein jaalii
In Pakistan and India, lattu, or spinning top, is used to play games. This is a traditional Pakistani and Indian game that used to be enjoyed and played by all children, but it is currently losing favor as other interests take precedence. This was once a popular game among children. It is still played in the inner colonies of Karachi, Peshawar, and Lahore, among other cities. For children in Pakistan, lattu is a way of life.
History
Thousands of years have passed since the invention of the spinning top. The earliest tops, like many traditional games like marbles, are made of clay and were discovered in the Middle East as early as 3500 BC. It is likely that children were spinning small rocks long before that.
The fact that a wooden top can balance itself on the tip of a nail is stunning. It's due to the "Gyroscopic Effect," which combines the universal laws of inertia (and momentum), friction, and gravity, as well as the conversion of potential to kinetic energy.

Now how to play Lattu paarr galey me jalli.
1) Top is a straightforward game with straightforward rules.
2) At the same time, all players must go for the 'toss,' also known as 'Goes.' After counting 1, 2, 3, all players should wind their tops with their ropes in the 'Goes' process. Then unwind it by releasing it from the rope, tossing it on the ground to rotate it, then rapidly picking it up with the rope. It all comes down to maintaining the shortest rope length, which allows you to rotate it and catch it with the rope.
3) Loss of the toss conditions:
a) It's known as 'Mattai' when the top fails to rotate on its nail on the ground.
b) If you fail to catch the highest through the rope then you lose the toss.
c) The last person to end the ‘Goes’ lose also .
4) The player who loses the toss will keep his top within the circle drawn on the bottom . the remainder of the players will need to attack on the highest which is spinning within the centre of the circle.
5) The players who managed to win the toss successfully will attempt to spin their tops over the highest within the circle trying to interrupt them OR trying to urge it out of the circle.
6) the opposite way of playing is :
a) a gaggle of players having their own tops will try to spin their tops one by one. One player amongst the group is going to be keeping track of all the players' time scores. Whoever manages to spin the highest for an extended duration will win the match.
